We went in Thursday morning to be induced. I was really nervous cuz my other two came naturally and early, so I was worried about induction being much harder and/or longer. We got there around 7 and got my water broken and pitocin started at 8:10 (4cm). Got the epidural around 10 (5cm), and they cranked the pit after that. By 11:15 I was 6 cm, and the nurse called the doc to tell him he should probably just come over at his lunch break. I started feeling some pressure, so they checked again at 11:40, and I was 7. By noon I was complete, so the nurse called the office again. She said he had still been there, but was on his way (She said she told him she was disappointed that he was answering the phone). He got there, and I started pushing at 12:30. Three contractions and 10 minutes later, Alissa Anntoinette was born! My first was 8lbs1oz at 39 weeks, and my second was 7lbs11oz at 38 1/2 weeks, so we were a little surprised that Alissa was 9 pounds and 3 ounces (20 inches)!
