Birth Story:
I arrived at the hospital a little before 7 am so they can start my induction! They already had everything set up so they
hooked me up to all the monitors and I was ready to go! I started to have contractions about 8:30 when they broke my water!
I was having a hard time relaxing so I took the epidural when I was dialated around a 5! They came back an hour later and
I was fully dialated! But we had one snag! My doctor got called away for an emergency procedure (a woman had an eptopic pregnancy)
so basically I chilled there for about 2 hours! Then my doc came in finally! At that point I was exhausted! But it took me
3 contractions to get her out! She came out perfect! She was put on my chest while they started to clean her off! It was amazing!
But then they noticed that she was turning bluish purple! So they took her to the NICU to get evaluated! And she has been
there now for the last 3 days! I was sent home on Friday (3/23) but she wont be joining us until Sunday!
