Birth Story:
I was hospitalized with pre-eclampsia on March 5 and was told by my doctors that I would be there until the baby was born.
They told me to pick a date the following week, so we chose March 14. Nature had other plans and a severe bout with a stomach
virus the night before surgery was scheduled delayed us by a day. Luckily, I was able to have my scheduled c-section on March
15. I went in a little around 9:20 and he was born at 9:44 am.
The surgery was performed by the doc who delivered Grace. I am completely comfortable with her and there was a great
team in the delivery room and we all joked and talked through the whole surgery (which really took the edge off).
Noah was born in perfect health and we both left the hospital 3 days later.
